On November 18, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce of Ghana approved S.P.A. Industry Export Rice and Sugar Global Co., Ltd. to establish a branch in Ghana to engage in all types of agricultural products, particularly rice and sugar trading. S.P.A. Industry Export Rice and Sugar Global Co.,Ltd. has set a target to export 25 tons of rice by December 2025 under the "New Rice to Ghana Victory Gate Project" first and 3,000 tons later respectively. This is supported by government agencies in exporting jasmine rice products.
